Videos Explaining Homework Packets

Below you will find a video of me explaining the homework packets for weeks 1-6. All of the weeks are split up into days. They are labeled W1 D1 and so forth, meaning Week 1 Day 1.

Each week has the same format. Included in each week is one animal report. Work on it throughout the week or whatever works best with your schedule. I also like to look up short informational videos on youtube and show them to students when learning about the animals. (Just make sure you preview them before showing to your child! )

Each day there is a page (front and back) of a warm up with language arts skills as well as math skills.

There are phonics pages each day.

Blank writing pages are provided each day as well.

There are several math review pages included each day.

Allow your child to be creative and do an art project or STEM project each day. I will be compiling a list of ideas and posting them here as well.

About Me

Teaching the Next Generation

fullsizeoutput_6a8.jpeg

I have always enjoyed learning. It was not until I was a preschool teacher that I decided I wanted to become an elementary school teacher. Seeing kindergartners grow from the beginning of the school year to the end is quite the transformation! I love being able to inspire a love for learning and reading in young minds!

I have taught kindergarten for the last 5 years and I LOVE it! There is just nothing quite like a kindergartner, excited and ready to learn.

I am a mom of 2. A 12 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. My husband and I live in beautiful Oakley, Utah. We have 4 dogs. Zoey, Axl, Kapone, and Ace. We also have 1 cat, Izzy. We are so grateful to live in such a beautiful place and raise our children here.
